Surveyors working in the Northern Territory can now receive copyright royalties for the use of their surveying plans, following a new licensing agreement between Copyright Agency and the NT Government.
The agreement covers retrospective use and forward licensing from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2028 and will deliver more than $66,500 to eligible surveyors, aligning the Territory with arrangements already in place in other states.
If your firm is not yet a Copyright Agency member, consider joining to ensure any identified royalties are paid to you.
