OSCA (Previously ANZSCO) Update


In December, the Australian Bureau of Statistics released the new Occupational Standard Classifications for Australia (OSCA) which replaces the previous ANZSCO codes you've heard us talk so much about.  These classifications are used for the Demand Study, the Surveyors Award and for Training Packages.  
We have spent many years advocating for Surveyors to be upgraded and better classified and we are (mostly) pleased with the results!  Attached we have downloaded the classifications and descriptors from the ABS website (OSCA - Occupation Standard Classification for Australia, 2024, Version 1.0 | Australian Bureau of Statistics) to save you searching.
As this is Version 1, we believe changes may be easier moving forward.  So please let us know if you have concerns about any of the descriptors used or allocations.
